XTM Connect - Kontent by Kentico User Guide for Administrators

Adding Kentico Projects

Note

Client name (your company name) is set automatically by XTM and cannot be modified.

Because each project is assigned its specific API key, hence the administrator user has to define the connection between the connector and the specific Kentico projects.

To add a new Kentico project:
  1. Log in to the XTM Connect administrator panel.

  2. Go to Kentico Projects and click Add project.

  3. Select the required Client assigned from the dropdown. The clients' list is set by the XTM admins.

  4. Select the Active checkbox – inactive users cannot use the connector.

  5. Provide the required Project name.

  6. Expand the down arrow angle-down-solid.png next to Connect to Kentico to configure the Kentico connection by filling in the required fields with information about the XTM account:

    • Project ID - the value copied from the Kentico Delivery API in CMS project settings of API keys

    • Management API Key - token copied from the Kentico Management API in CMS project settings of API keys

      Note

Make sure it is switched to an Active state.
