XTM Cloud server requirements

Ensure that the XTM Cloud server has the following features, for using XTM Connect – Jira:

Requirement

Description

XTM Connect – Jira must be able to access the customer's Jira via API, to enable the customer’s users to request translations. These are then sent to XTM Workbench via XTM Connect – Jira. To enable this, XTM Connect – Jira must be installed at one of these locations:

  • main customer server or customer production server: XTM Connect – Jira is installed on one of these customer servers, behind the customer’s firewall, where Jira is also installed.

  • dedicated off-site XTM Connect – Jira server: This external server is hosted by XTM International, is used solely for XTM Connect – Jira and requires access to the customer's Jira.

Other necessary software

These software products must also be preinstalled on the server:

  • Tomcat

  • Java

  • PostgreSQL

Adequate disk space

The server must have enough capacity to store the files received for translation. The actual capacity required must be decided in your organization, to meet your expected requirements.
