XTM Connect – Drupal 8.x-7.0

Setting the cron time interval

In Drupal, cron, the time-based job scheduler, is used to trigger all scheduled system tasks, including sending translation jobs to XTM Cloud. These tasks are performed automatically, at a set time interval. At this interval, a cron job runs and triggers the relevant tasks.

To set the cron time interval:
  1. Select the Configuration tool bar button in the Home screen.

  2. In the Configuration screen, select the Cron option in the SYSTEM section.

You see the Cron tab screen. In the CRON SETTINGS section, you see the current cron interval in the Run cron every dropdown.

  3. If required, select a new cron interval from the dropdown.

  4. To save your changed cron configuration, select the Save configuration button. When you do so, a screen message informs you that the configuration options have been changed.

To leave the Cron tab screen, select the appropriate button in the toolbar.

Note

By default, the Detained cron logging setting, above the Run cron every dropdown, is selected. We recommend that you do not deselect it unless requested to do so by XTM Support.
