Reviewing translated job item content

When a job item has been translated in XTM Cloud, and returned to Drupal, you can check and, if necessary, correct the translated text there, manually.

Note

This is not necessary if translations are reviewed in XTM Cloud, as part of the translation workflow there. If that is the case, and reviews are never necessary in Drupal, reviewing there can be deactivated globally. for details, see Automatically Accept Translations (Drupal.org online help).

Checking and correcting translated job item content in Drupal:
  1. In the Job Items tab screen, find the job item whose translated content you want to review. (If necessary, filter the job items list to find it.) On the right of the screen, you see the OPERATIONS column.

  2. In the OPERATIONS column, select the Review button in the line that contains the job item you want to review. A screen containing details about the job item is displayed. The source content is displayed in the Source text box at the bottom of the screen. The translation is displayed in the Translation text box beside it.

  3. In the Translation box, make any necessary changes to the target text.

  4. To finish the job item, scroll down to the bottom of the screen and select the Save as completed button. The translated job item content is added to your Drupal website and can be seen by visitors.

  5. To leave the screen, select the back button arrow-left-solid.png (not the Back to site button) in the top left-hand corner of the screen, above the Content icon. You return to the Job overview screen.

Result: you have reviewed the translated job item content, made changes if necessary, and finished the job item.
