Resubmitting an aborted translation job

Although translation jobs are normally managed in the Jobs screen, and not the Job Items screen, you resubmit aborted translation jobs (send them for translation again) in the Job Items screen. This is the only way to resubmit these jobs.

To resubmit an aborted translation job, in the Job Items screen:
  1. In the Job Items screen, find a job item that is in the job that you want to resubmit. (If necessary, filter the job items list to find it, searching for items whose status, shown in the PROGRESS column, is Aborted.)

  2. In the JOB column, click on the translation job that contains the selected job item, and that you want to resubmit. (You do not resubmit the item!). A screen containing details about the job is displayed.

  3. A Resubmit as a new job? confirmation screen is displayed. It informs you that, if you resubmit the job, a new job with the same items will be created. These items can then be submitted again. If the source texts have changed in the meantime, the new job will reflect these changes.

  4. Select Confirm to resubmit the job, or select Cancel. If you select Confirm, you return to the previous screen (not the Job Items screen) and a system message informs you that the aborted job has been duplicated and you can now resubmit it.

  5. Select Submit to provider at the bottom of the screen to resubmit the job. it is displayed in the Job overview screen, in the Jobs tab screen.
