XTM Connect – Drupal 8.x-7.0

From a downloaded plugin package

We recommend that you install TMGMT directly from the relevant (TMGMT) module page .

If this is not possible, for some reason, you can also do so from a downloaded plugin package. This might be necessary, for example, if you have previously downloaded the plugin package you require and have no access to the relevant (TMGMT) module page at the time you want to install TMGMT.

To install the TMGMT plugin from a downloaded plugin package:

  1. In your instance of Drupal, select the Extend tab. You see the List tab screen.

  2. Select the Install new module button. In the Install new module screen, you see the Upload a module or theme archive to install field.

  3. In a new tab on your computer, on the Drupal website, go to the main Translation Management Tool (XTM Connect – Drupal) module page.

  4. Scroll to the bottom of the page, to the Releases section.

  5. Select the name of the TMGMT release that you require. A page containing installation files (packages) for that release is displayed.

  6. In the Alternative installation files section, click on the installation file that you require. It must have the file extension .tar.gz or .zip. The installation file is saved to the Downloads area on your local hard disk.

  7. Select the previous tab on your computer, which contains the Install new module screen.

  8. In the Upload a module or theme archive to install field, select the Choose File button. You see the File Explorer on your computer.

  9. Navigate to the installation file that you downloaded to the Downloads area on your local hard disk. Example: tmgmt-8.x-1.15.zip.

  10. Select the installation file.

  11. Select the Open button. The File Explorer closes and you return to the Install new module screen. In the Upload a module or theme archive to install field, you see the name of the selected installation file.

  12. To install the selected XTM Connect – Drupal plugin module, select the Install button at the bottom of the screen. The installation process runs.

Result: you have installed the XTM Connect – Drupal plugin on the Drupal server.

Now install the XTM Connect – Drupal plugin on the Drupal server.
