Filtering content items (Content screen)
In the Content screen, you can restrict the number of content items displayed in the list, to find the ones that are relevant to you. You can then perform actions on those content items, as required. For details, see Content screen actions. You select filter criteria using one or more of the dropdowns at the top of the screen, under the Add content button. They are all optional: you do not have to make a setting in one of them unless you require it.
Using the Published status dropdown, specify that content items with a specific published status are to be displayed. Select:
Any to display all content items, no matter what their published status is. (Default setting).
Published to only display content items that have been published.
Unpublished to only display content items that have not been published.
Using the Content type dropdown, specify that content items of a specific content type are to be displayed. These content types are set in the configuration for your Drupal website and might differ from the content types shown below. Select (for example):
Any to display all content items, no matter what their content type is. (Default setting).
Article to only display content items that are articles.
Basic page to only display content items that are basic pages.
Body to only display content items that are body text items.
If required, restrict the display to one or a few related content items by entering an entire item name, or part of one, in the Title field. Example: if you enter "cont" in the Title field, items with the word "content" or "container" or "continuous" are displayed.
Using the Language dropdown, specify that content items in a specific language are to be displayed. The dropdown contains the languages configured in your Drupal website.
When you have set the filter criteria you require, select the Filter button under the filter dropdowns. The content items list is filtered and only content items that are relevant to you are displayed.
Note
You can change the filter settings at any time. To cancel them all and return the filters to their original settings, select the Reset button, which is displayed to the right of the Filter button when you select it.
