Duplicating (cloning) an XTM Connect – Drupal translation provider configuration
Duplicating (cloning) an Drupal translation provider configuration is a convenient way to copy existing XTM Connect – Drupal configuration data, and create a new XTM Connect – Drupal translation provider configuration, without the need to enter all the required details in the form again. This is useful if, for example, you want to set different Linguists for specific languages, in particular cases.
Select the Translation tool bar button in the Home screen.
In the screen, select the Providers option.
You see the currently configured translation providers, in the Providers tab screen.
Find the entry for the instance of XTM Connect – Drupal whose settings you want to clone. If you do so, your original settings will be retained, in a separate configuration, and you will also create a new configuration, which will have a different name (defined in the Label field).
At the end of the line containing that instance, select the Clone button. You see the Clone Provider screen.
In the Label field, enter a name for your new configuration.
Note
This entry is mandatory: you must create a copied configuration, with a new identity, to reuse existing configuration settings.
Change any configuration settings that no longer match your requirements. For details, see the XTM Cloud translation provider settings. Alternatively, if you just want to copy the existing configuration, but use identical settings, go to step 7. below and save the new configuration name.
To save your settings, once you have verified that the connection to XTM Cloud is working properly, select the Save button at the bottom of the screen.
