Deleting a job item
If required, you can delete a job item. You might do so, for example, if translation of a content item into a particular language was requested, but then not needed.
If you delete a job item, this does not delete the source content item from which it originates: that remains on your website.
If translation of a content item has been requested in several languages, you can delete the particular job items for languages, but leave the others unchanged.
Note
You can only delete job items whose status is Inactive.
In the Job Items tab screen, find the job item that you want to delete. (If necessary, filter the job items list to find it, searching for items whose status is Inactive.) On the right of the screen, you see the OPERATIONS column.
In the OPERATIONS column, select the Delete button in the line that contains the job item you want to delete.
A separate screen is displayed in which you are prompted to confirm that you want to delete the selected translation job item. If you do so, this action cannot be undone.
To delete the selected job item, select the Delete button. You return to the Job Items tab screen. A screen message confirms that you have deleted the job item and it is no longer displayed in the Job Items list.
To cancel deletion, select the Cancel button. You return to the Job Items tab screen. There is no screen message or other notification to confirm that you have not deleted the job item, but it is still displayed in the Job Items list, with the same status (in the PROGRESS column) as before.
