Changing a password
In Drupal, you can change your password, which means simply defining a new one, in Drupal itself (see the procedure below). Alternatively, you can reset your password, which means that you will be sent instructions for selecting a new password by email.
At the top of any Drupal screen, on the left, select the user icon, beside the Shortcuts button, in the tool bar. You see the Edit profile button label below it.
Select the Edit profile button label. You see the Edit tab screen.
Make these settings in the Edit tab screen:
Field name
Description
Current password
Enter your current password in this field.
Password
Enter your new password in this field.
Confirm password
Enter your new password again, in this field.
To change your password, and use the one you just defined, select the Save button at the bottom of the tab screen.
